Warranty covers faults that appear after you have received your item. It is separate from returns: if an item is faulty, damaged or wrong within 14 days of delivery, you can return it under our Return & Refund Policy, whatever its warranty below.
1. Warranty by product type

| Refurbished laptops and desktops | 6 months on the motherboard. All other parts (screen, keyboard, battery, storage, speakers, ports): 1 month |
| Replacement laptop chargers, replacement batteries, internal storage drives | 1 month |
| External storage devices and replacement laptop screens (LCD) | We test them with you at delivery or collection. No warranty after that. |
| Printers, monitors, networking, audio, Starlink and other branded accessories (including branded chargers and adapters) | Manufacturer’s warranty applies |
*Claims for sealed brand-new units are handled by the brand’s authorised service centre in Kenya, and we help you through the process.
2. When warranty starts
Warranty starts on the day you receive your item, by delivery or collection.
3. What is not covered
- Physical damage
- Liquid damage
- Damage from power surges
- Software issues
- Repairs by anyone not authorised by us or the manufacturer
- Normal wear and tear
4. How to make a warranty claim
Contact us by WhatsApp or call on +254 182 606 095, or email sales@terptech.co.ke. Give us your order number or receipt, the product, and a short description of the fault. Photos or a short video help. We reply within 1 working day and explain the next steps. Please back up your data before handing in any device.
5. Your rights
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or other Kenyan law.
