Terptech Technologies (“Terptech”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit terptech.co.ke, place an order or contact us, how we use it, and the rights you have under the Data Protection Act, 2019 of Kenya.
1. Who we are

2. Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, phone number, email address, delivery and billing address, order details, order notes, and any messages you send us by phone, WhatsApp, email or our website.
- Order and payment information: the products you buy, order value, and payment status. We do not store full card numbers or M-Pesa PINs.
- Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and similar data collected through cookies and similar technologies.
3. How we use your information
- To process, confirm, deliver and support your orders, including warranty and returns.
- To contact you about your order by phone, SMS, WhatsApp or email.
- To answer questions and provide customer service.
- To keep our website secure and prevent fraud.
- To understand how our website is used and to improve it, including measuring our advertising (for example with Google Analytics and Google Ads).
- To send you offers and news, only if you agree. You can opt out at any time.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only when needed to run our business:
- delivery riders and courier companies, so they can deliver your order;
- payment providers, so they can process your payment;
- website hosting, email and IT service providers who work on our behalf;
- analytics and advertising providers such as Google, using cookie and device data; and
- government or law-enforcement authorities, where the law requires it.
5. Cookies
Our website uses cookies to keep your cart and login working, remember your preferences, and help us understand site traffic and ad performance. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the site, such as the cart and checkout, may not work without them.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep order and invoice records for as long as tax and accounting laws require (generally up to seven years). We keep other data only as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete or anonymise it.

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including secure (HTTPS) connections and restricted access to customer records. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.
8. Your rights

- ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- ask us to delete data we no longer need;
- object to, or withdraw consent for, marketing and certain processing; and
- lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC).

9. Children
Our website is not directed at children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page, with the date it was last updated.
