Description
Designed for School-Age Children
The Amazon Fire 7 Kids Pro provides a child-focused tablet experience for ages 6 and above. Its 7-inch IPS touchscreen has a resolution of 1024 × 600 pixels for reading, watching videos, and using compatible apps.
The compact design makes it convenient for children to use at home or carry between activities.
Everyday Learning and Entertainment
A 1.3GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM support everyday activities such as reading books, listening to music, watching videos, and running compatible games.
The tablet supports Amazon Kids+, a subscription service offering children’s books, games, videos, and educational content. Content availability varies by location and date; subscription eligibility should be confirmed for the specific retail unit.
Parental Controls
Amazon’s Parent Dashboard gives parents tools to set screen-time limits, establish learning goals, and review usage.
Children can request apps and eBooks from the digital store while parents approve purchases and downloads. The web browser includes filtering controls, and parents can allow or block specific websites. These features support supervised use rather than unrestricted browsing.
Expandable Storage
The tablet includes 16GB of internal storage, with approximately 9.4GB available to the user before subsequent updates or downloads.
A microSD card slot supports up to 512GB of additional storage for compatible content. Some apps must remain on internal storage, so a memory card does not replace all internal storage requirements.
Slim Protective Case and Stand
The Kids Pro package includes a slim child-friendly case designed to help protect against everyday bumps and drops.
Its adjustable stand supports hands-free viewing, making it useful when watching videos or following on-screen activities at a desk or table. Case colours and patterns depend on the selected version.
Cameras and Wireless Connectivity
Front and rear 2MP cameras support photography and 720p HD video recording. The tablet connects to compatible 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi networks and supports Bluetooth accessories.
A built-in speaker and 3.5mm headphone socket provide options for listening aloud or using compatible wired headphones. This model does not support mobile-network connectivity through a SIM card.
Battery Life for Daily Activities
Enjoy up to 7 hours of reading, browsing, watching videos, or listening to music between charges. Actual battery life depends on settings, apps, and usage.
The tablet charges through a micro-USB port, with a full charge taking approximately 4 hours using the supplied power adapter.
