These Terms & Conditions apply to your use of terptech.co.ke and to all purchases from Terptech Technologies (“Terptech”, “we”, “us”), online or in our shop. By using our website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
1. About us
Terptech Technologies is a computer and electronics retailer at Old Mutual Building, Kimathi Street, 3rd Floor, Room 324B, Nairobi CBD, Kenya. Phone/WhatsApp: +254 182 606 095. Email: sales@terptech.co.ke.
2. Products and descriptions
- We describe our products as accurately as we can, using manufacturer information. Product images are for illustration, and packaging or colours may vary slightly.
- Refurbished products are clearly labelled as refurbished. They are tested and may show light signs of previous use.
- Products are subject to availability. If an item becomes unavailable after you order, we will contact you with an alternative or a full refund.
3. Prices
- All prices are in Kenya Shillings (KSh). Prices exclude 16% VAT. Need an official VAT (eTIMS) invoice? Contact us before you order and we’ll confirm the VAT and invoice details.
- Delivery is free in Nairobi CBD. Elsewhere, the delivery charge depends on your location and order size and is confirmed when we call to confirm your order – never more than KSh 500 (see our Shipping & Delivery Policy).
- Prices may change without notice, but the price confirmed in your order is the price you pay. If a price on the website is clearly wrong, we will contact you before processing the order and you may cancel at no cost.
4. Orders
- When you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. Our team will also contact you to confirm the order and delivery details.
- A contract is formed when we confirm and dispatch your order.
- We may decline or cancel an order if we suspect fraud, cannot reach you to confirm, or the item is unavailable. If you have already paid, we refund you in full.
5. Payment
- Within Nairobi, you can pay with cash or M-Pesa when your order is delivered or collected (“Payment Upon Delivery”).
- For deliveries outside Nairobi, payment is by M-Pesa to our Paybill 880100 (account number 919182) before dispatch. For some high-value orders in Nairobi, we may also ask for payment to the same Paybill before dispatch. We will tell you when we call to confirm your order.
- We issue a receipt for every purchase.
6. Delivery
Delivery areas, times and costs are explained in our Shipping & Delivery Policy. Please inspect your order when you receive it.
7. Cancellations
You can cancel your order free of charge at any time before it is dispatched by calling, messaging or emailing us. After dispatch, our Return & Refund Policy applies.
8. Returns, refunds and warranty
Returns, exchanges and refunds are covered by our Return & Refund Policy. Warranty is covered by our Warranty Policy.
9. Software
Computers may come with trial versions of operating systems or office software. Licensed software installed at your request is sold separately and is not covered by the hardware warranty.
10. Use of our website
- Do not misuse the website, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or use it for any unlawful purpose.
- All content on this website, including text, graphics and the Terptech Technologies logo, belongs to Terptech Technologies or its licensors and may not be copied without permission. Product names and brands belong to their respective owners.
11. Liability
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of data, profit or business. Please back up your data before any repair, return or exchange. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or other Kenyan law.
12. Privacy
We handle your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya. Any dispute will be handled by the courts of Kenya, including the Small Claims Court where applicable.
14. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
